I’ve almost completed Michio Kaku’s excellent new book,Physics of the Future: How Science Will Shape Human Destiny and Our Daily Lives by the Year 2100 .
His work led me to think about how Austrian-American economist Joseph Schumpeter described creative destruction as a process where new technologies create long-term economic growth in a nation but, at the same time, destroy old industries that were considered core to economic success.
These ideas, in turn, led me to think about how individual investors have changed their investing methods over the years as new innovations occurred in the investment industry.
The net result of all this thinking could well be an entire book. However, for the sake of brevity, I’ve smashed the main points down to a few paragraphs in my new blog, The Evolution of Personal Investing.
Enjoy!
